I know, I know, I'm only a million years late to this but I have been away on hols!
The night before we left I went to see it with my great friend Louise. Oh nostalgia rocks! The cinema was a giggling mass of girls, lipsticked up and highly perfumed, clutching their giveaways (free Galaxy bars, Bailey's cocktails to mention but two of the girlie freebies on offer) and ordering vats of Ben and Jerrys in preparation for the hour of indulgence ahead. L and I were very happy to see the cinema had a license for the occasion so wine in one hand, ice cream in the other we settled down and enjoyed the show.
There were tears, there was laughter and we had a thoroughly good time. Only a teensy, weensy bit disappointed with the fashion - but horrified by the Westwood wedding dress as it did not fit her in the bust area at all! As someone who was wedded wearing Westwood and thoroughly loved my one and only couture experience from start to finish of my many fittings I just couldn't believe how bad it looked around the bosoms - couldn't they have padded it or something?
Anyway, we then headed to OQO for some post movie cocktails and did as the girls did and fell back in love with Cosmos (even though the bartender rolled his eyes). We had one too many, I was chatted up twice (!) and declared our undying love for each other before rolling home very close to 2am, oh how nostalgia rocked...
...then had to get up, finish packing and get to the airport to fly CrappyJet to Bordeaux with a hangover. It was Matt's turn to roll his eyes!

I'm meant to be getting ready for work now! I did the same thing a couple of days ago. Someone asked me if it was a good film - I said that if you'd watched the show yes, otherwise probably not. 2.5 hours of pure escapism.
