We continued our eating and drinking with a family brunch today at The Waterhouse. It's opened just around the corner from us by the Shoreditch Trust and aims to have eco-friendly credentials . They've really made the most of the space (it's by the canal, overlooking lots of graffiti) but it's very Scandi chic and comfortable with an open kitchen. It's going to be great in the summer as it has a deck overlooking the canal, and O loved watching all the ducks, geese and canoeists going by. Lovely freshly squeezed juice and good coffee.
O had a rare afternoon nap, so Matt and I had two peaceful hours with the papers, before having a little party in the kitchen so she could help blow out the candles. We're going to finish off a lovely day with shepherds pie and a movie. Such a good day!

It's Geoff's birthday at the end of this month too and I'm already counting down to a dinner out with friends. We left the girls with my parents overnights a couple of weeks ago - E&L are to be with his parents for this outing and I'm going to test the waters for a sleepover that night too!
